The Wilson Dual-Band Cellular Antenna is the most advanced cellular antenna of its kind. Few things are as frustrating or dangerous as trying to reconnect a dropped call while driving. The Mini Glass Mount Antenna dramatically reduces or completely eliminates cellphone disconnections and noise. Inside of an automobile a phone with the Mini Glass Mount Antenna can transmit and receive over ten times the signal of a phone without one.
The Mini Glass Mount Antenna may be mounted along the top of the front or rear window. For best performance don't mount or rear window of trucks or SUV's. Check to ensure your mounting location won't interfere with windshield wiper operation. Keep the antenna away from the defogger wires. If the antenna must be mounted on the defogger, center it between the defogger wires as much as possible. Clean the exterior window surface with window cleaner. Be sure the same location inside the window is clear of obstacles. Remove the protective paper on the base to expose the adhesive pad and firmly press the antenna into place on the outside of the window. Note: If installing on a home or office window, ensure that it is not dual pane glass.
The Coupling Box is installed on the interior glass in the same position as the Antenna Base on the outside of the glass. Clean the inside mounting surface with window cleaner. The Coupling Box must be installed so the cable points down from the box. Remove the protective paper to expose the adhesive pad and firmly press the Coupling Box into place. Connect the Coax Cable to your Adapter Cable (not included) or directly to your hands-free kit.
In addition to dropout and noise reduction, the Mini Glass Mount Antenna eliminates microwave energy radiating into the head. This is achieved by channeling all of the energy out through the external antenna.
